John Scherer has had a life long love of the West, and the spirit and values it embodies.  Most of his vacations were spent traveling the West.   His love of the West compelled him to begin writing novellas and novels about the West and the people who loved and became a part of it.  "The Magic Rope" is his first work offered in book form.  Look for "Lady and the Muleskinner" at this site in the future.
